Nivona 830

Hello altogether,

>Ahead - It may of course be that my question has already been asked and answered in this or another forum. If so, sorry, then my research (because of despair) was bad.

Device: Nivona 830, bought on 24.05.2011 at Expert. In daily continuous operation, daily average about 10 cups of coffee.

Problem: First appeared on 18.11.2014, all of a sudden and without warning. Coffee selected, machine starts up, when the side part is removed, this can also be seen, but no coffee ends up in the cup (apart from two very tiny droplets), the coffee is in the drip tray after the process has been completed, the powder is in the drip tray as intended.

Solution tests: removal of the brewing unit and cleaning of the same, as well as all internal parts accessible by hand and brush. Machine switched off and on again. Mains plug completely pulled out.

Result: Problem persists. My boss called that I can't work anymore this year (this was a joke ...).

Question 1) Can it be that this problem was already described in the net with the result "drainage valve faulty" 0 or "control unit faulty"?

Question 2) If No, there is another solution?

Many thanks for timely comments

Coffee in the drip tray is a very clear indication of a defective drainage valve, which is a very common defect.

Thank you very much for the prompt reply, coincides with my amateurish assessment. I'll try to get the problem under control with the corresponding posts.

Yes, for that the Nivona must be taken apart. Without the technical knowledge, fine motor skills and the peace and quiet, tools you can better press them on the eye of a repairer.
With complete cleaning and revision of the brewing unit, even the grinder should not escape the eye then.
Parts are available on the net, from various suppliers.
