Hello fellow travellers!

>On my 5000A the immense scatter loss of coffee powder mad.gif that fills the drip tray uselessly
If the espresso didn't come out so clean, it would be a reason for divorce!

Had one of you already thought about this problem?(which I assume I'm not the only one who has) ohmy.gif

Unfortunately, there is only ONE way out here. Adjust the coffee quantity so that the BG is just full and the scraper has nothing left to push away. To do this you have to bridge the door contact and then do some test runs and adjust the amount of water accordingly until you have achieved a satisfactory result. I'm afraid it's like this with the machine.

By the way, you can adjust it as follows - behind the BG door - there is a knob on the back left of the rear wall -
turn it a little to the left - try it - ...
If you adjust it correctly, nothing goes wrong !

I would permanently bridge the door contact.
You have to adjust it every time you change the beans.

But be careful - don't reach in - while the machine is working!!!!!!

(then comes out as espresso) ph34r.gif
Also if you have children - always lock with key (if bridged)
