Hello
my coffee maker is almost 8 years old. i have had no complaints so far. Since about 3 weeks the warm-up phase is getting longer and longer and the coffee is not as hot as it used to be. From what I've read, it's probably this thermoblock. Since the repair costs about 100 to 150 Euro, my question:
Is it still worth it with such an old device?
Many thanks for the answer!

Good evening,

I don't think it's worth it. The new coffee machines no longer cost as much as they did years ago. Of course, you can repair the old device yourself. But for that you need a skilled craftsman who knows all about these things. If you have someone in your circle of acquaintances, it would be worth a try. They probably needed a new thermoblock. - But with a machine this old, it's easy to break something again. Like an older car for example.
