Smart TS - Water tank removal is not detected

Decalcification does not continue

The machine hangs during the descaling program, at the step: remove the water tank. It doesn't recognise that I've removed it. Therefore, nothing goes further.
Have called support, they said sensor probably defective. Does anyone have an idea what could be and how I could solve this without sending the whole machine?

Otherwise, everything works so far - only decalcify I can not ...

Thank you!

Possibly the circuit board that detects the water level is defective. Sits inside on the housing wall near the water tank.
You can replace times on suspicion. Is also not expensive.

Thanks!!! Is this
easy / hard to install? My machine is new - do I lose the warranty, or can they see that I opened the machine?

Obviously I'd rather buy the small part and replace it than send the whole machine in....

What do you think?

Is the circuit board directly on the inner wall of the water tank, or in the control unit?

Just seen, there is a service partner in Berlin which carries out warranty repairs itself. Then I would not have to send the machine ...

Hmmm

If there is still warranty on it then I would use the. Was this your first descaling?
Did you let the tank run completely empty the first time until the message comes Empty drip tray and rinse water tank and fill with fresh water.

I've started descaling, demanded drawer empty and back in, then I should empty water - since machine has not recognized that I have taken out tank and put in with descaler. In the menu I could do nothing more. Helps only switch off.
Was my first descaling.

Draw coffee runs normally? If you take out the water tank, it is not recognized even in coffee mode?

Then probably the circuit board is defective. Whether you replace it yourself or send to Melitta you must decide for yourself. I think the exchange is not witchcraft.
At Saeco, the parts are glued. Hope that Melitta has screwed them. Had not yet a Melitta with capacitive sensor in the hand.

Thanks - yes is probably a broken sensor. Machine also spits around with the milk - that can then also check and repair the same.

I have my barista back from service, water tank is recognized again. However, according to the bill, no circuit board was replaced, maybe only ne connection was loose. However, the technician had confirmed the error. A fluid nipple was replaced - probably because of the milk spit. Then still n software update and grinder adjusted. Am glad that I brought the machine to the service, they were very fast away and friendly. Elektro Franck in Berlin, that ran on warranty. I knew them from old Jura times. Highly recommended!
