Delonghi ESAM 2000

Hello dear people,

I have a Delonghi ESAM 2000.

When I switch it on then no water comes out of the outlet and after the heat up it rattles briefly because it wants to pump (but comes no water) and then comes fault (exclamation mark lights) and the two LEDs flash (about a cup of two cups which is normal when heating up)) I turn the milk frother then comes out of it also water so it pumps at least still. what could be the reason? i already cleaned the brewing unit and also both sieves (the one from the brewing unit and the one above the brewing unit) without success. no water gets through.

yes I already have that but not because there is no water through and the exclamation mark lights up continuously. when pressing the flush button nothing happens.

Then you will have to open the machine and replace/clean the oBK.

aah thanks for the tip now I just have to find out what the oBK is.

oBK = upper brewing piston. The limescale at DL and are not decalcified by the normal decalcification program.
The oBK is screwed under the thermoblock.

aah ok that part i've already seen but only the "sieb" the bottom on it was unscrewed and cleaned helped but not so i have to remove it.

That'll be calcified in the drip-stop area. You'll have to separate the OBK from the TB. Get an XL gasket kit and overhaul everything.
