I am thinking about giving my mother a coffee machine for Christmas. Until recently she had the Petra KM 45.01 with which she was satisfied. However, it is now defective after 3 years. This time I would like to give away a high quality product up to 500€. The requirements are very small. Ca.5 cups Cappucino/Latte Macchiato per week and a thick milk foam. It would be advantageous if not only beans but also powder could be used. The Petra KM 45.01 fulfilled all requirements except for the use of beans.
Therefore you can get up to 500€ something good. I have already looked around a bit and find these machines quite good regarding the equipment/functions. I'm afraid I don't know how the coffee is. Maybe somebody can write me a field report.
