Bosch Verocafe Latte O Ring broken

Hello dear ones.
I have a short question.
When I want to make a coffee, the machine grinds
quite normally. She also draws water and this runs directly into the drip tray.
Now I have seen that the so-called O ring is torn.
Can that alone be enough that no more coffee comes and the water runs directly into the tray?
would appreciate an answer.

Put in a new one. The defective O-ring will certainly be the reason.
