EQ.7 Clean/replace brewing unit

I see similar topics, but no real anwers, so I want to add mine in hope of getting more wise on the issue.

Machine is somewhat similar to TE711509DE (but another color). The display can show either Clean brewing unit or replace brewing unit.

Inspecting the brewing unit, I find that the piston is stuck, I rinse thoroughly, replace it, and it is good again for a few brews. Then the error repeats.

It seems that there are more coffee spilled around the brew unit than usually.

The large sealing ring is no longer red. Should it be replaced? Or could the error be something else? Grinder grinds incorrectly/incorrectly adjusted?

I might have found the culprit in my case. Coffee was building up in the entry for the external coffee. Also lot of coffee grime everywhere internally.

Then right after, I got an issue with the water supply and the pump was sounding strange and very low. Maybe I also fixed that. Regards, Lars.
