Hello,

is new here and wanted to ask a question. I have been the owner of a DeLonghi PrimaDonna ESAM6600 for about 2 years. For quite some time now, I have unfortunately noticed that the temperature of espresso or normal coffee is no longer really hot. In the settings I have of course set the water temperature to hot.

Has anyone possibly had these experiences and has a tip for me?

You have a guarantee, right? If yes, just get in touch with DL. Possibly a heating coil at the thermoblock is defective.

Gruß Stefan

If I have to look again, I can't remember exactly when you bought it..

That would be the best, of course, if it could still run on warranty..

Thank you...

How hot is it gonna get? Measure.

Do you have a multimeter and can operate it?

Hello together,

same problem, my coffee could be much hotter.
I measured max. 76° at the beginning of brewing. At the end of the brewing process, the maximum cup quantity is only approx. 68-69° at the end of the brewing process, so that the initial coffee temperature is approx. 65° when the cup is preheated.
The milk is heated to approx. 50° ...

My 6600 is approx. 4 years old and has only approx. 4000 brewing processes, is of course regularly descaled.

Hello,

had the problem too. Only after 4 years, then after one year.
There is definitely a heating spiral defective.
That means: a new thermoblock has to be made.

Since there are excellent instructions for installing yourself, I installed the heating myself at that time.Cost: 105.- €, with installation it costs surely 200 -250 €

After one year the same mistake.
Then for 150 € an Unold ordered ( knife return with 48 cups of cover ).
Now standing at 1000 cups.

greetings
