Adjustable steam output?

Hello coffee fans!

I have a Siemens EQ.9 plus connect S500. The steam burst is yes a great cleaning idea with the milk coffees. But: Shortly before the steam comes out relatively much water. An espresso macchiato does not taste there. What can you do?
