Hello,
after the machine was decalcified, it was running fine at first - then the message "Water tank empty" came up even though it was full. Turning the venting bar initially provided a remedy. After 5 cups new message... Does anyone have an idea.greetings

If the magnetic float has become stuck in the water tank?
Otherwise check the seat or the function of the reed sensor (counterpart of the magnetic float inside the machine).

does not get stuck - but in fact it no longer floats, but "sticks" to the ground. A change of direction has brought nothing... can I get to the inner part when the brewing group has been removed? Many thanks in advance for any help :-) (the first day without Gaggia is almost over... what a terrible day! :-(

but it doesn't swim anymore, it "sticks" to the bottom. A change of direction didn't help..

I don't understand now. Does it always stick to the ground, or is it free running and just doesn't swim anymore?. The magnetic float must therefore be made common. To test the reed sensor, simply hold a small magnet in the place where the float normally sits.
