Operating noises of the deLonghi ESAM 3000 B

Hello everyone,

have the following questions about the fully automatic coffee maker deLonghi ESAM 3000 B:

Is the "pulsating" rinsing process after heating the machine normal, or a normal operating noise?
Sounds like an "alarm noise" from a Hollywood movie.

-The water pumping noise during coffee dispensing is generally very loud to me, compared to the super-quiet grinding noise. Even my old Saeco Magic digital (year 2000) was quieter at coffee time.
Do you have similar experiences?

can confirm your statement since 4 days have also a 3000B.

The pulsating flushing seems to be normal, to the grinder I can tell you nothing since it is my first KVA.

What settings have you made then with you to make an espresso and with which beans?
