HelloI
have a problem with my WMF 900 (7years old) that is not always a problem.
When the machine stands overnight (turned off) then it produces a flood in the drip tray area. The water is mainly under the drip tray.

However, the 900 does not always do this, but without warning and without SYSTEM.
No matter what the basic conditions are it happens, or it doesn't.
It happens:
- with water in the tank-
without water in the tank-
right after machine cleaning-
days after machine cleaning-
etc.

I know, these are exactly the errors that nobody wants to have and that almost nobody can explain.
Still, maybe there is someone here who knows this and who can fix it (or knows someone)

Thanks

HelloOn the
machine has been renewed so far only once the pump.
Question, I can replace the seal itself (without disassembling the whole machine)?
But it probably also runs out water when the tank is empty.

The seal can be seen when the tank is out. It looks like the picture.
But if water also runs out when the tank is empty, it can only come through one of the two boilers in the machine. Or it pushes the water out through the brew group. From a distance difficult to say because it is not always

Thanks for the answer.
Is there possibly in the area of Bochum, Dortmund or Essen someone who could look at it. I myself am not so good technically.
I will definitely look again, what happens if I not only empty the tank, but also leave it "outside".

HelloHere
is the result of one night and morning:
The machine has spent the night without its water tank. There has been no high water.
At 6:30 machine supplied with water and turned on. After an hour everything dry. After another 1 1/2 hours the first puddle.

The water is about where there is also a "small" outlet, probably only used when rinsing.
I took a photo of it (which vllt. can help).

Can anyone else help?
Thanks

Hi,

The cover, which I have marked with the arrow, can be pulled off. Reach in at the bottom and pull carefully.
Behind it is the pipe that lets the residual water from the brew group run into the drip tray. Check to see if it's still okay.

HelloTook
a while. I have now taken off this "lid".
Behind it is the pipe, which looks perfectly ok to me. There was a little "Kniest" on it. I removed it and put the cover back on.
By the way, from today's noon about 12 o'clock, until now (16:30 o'clock) was once again no flooding (everything dry).
I have photographed the pipe behind the lid again and attached it here.

Maybe I should buy a new machine.

Greetings and thanksPS

: yet another idea

There is a relief valve under the machine. This lets the brew group run empty and then the water comes out at the pipe in the picture above.
It is possible that it hangs. When was the machine last decalcified?
I would not buy a new machine because of this. This is a good machine. Pretty much anything you get is a step backwards.
I have one here at the moment. Only the motor for the drive was defective or the carbon was worn.
Do you not have the drip tray in the machine overnight? Since you have shown you drops in the first picture under the drip tray?

The machine is always decalcified or cleaned when I am prompted to do so.
The last cleaning (with orig. WMF tablet) was on 30.01.22.
The last time descale was in Aug. 2021 (with Durgol descaler)
.

Normally the drip tray, the tank and the pulp container is in the machine.
The flooding is always under the drip tray. Like the first picture, but usually with a lot more water.

Since yesterday afternoon the machine was off and just "standing around" until this morning.
Result: no drips, no flooding (while the tank was even full).

This is what I mean by error YES, error NO wink.gif

[I do believe these machines can all read minds

.

Whenever I think of NEW BUYING, or talk (write) about it the errors are eliminated].

Replace the tank gasket that I showed you. If you need one write to me by PN. Then I can send you one.

I took another closer look at the photos. It looks like the water is running along the back wall (see photo), which reminds me of a "lime trail".
If that is so, then I can already imagine that the water then runs under the drip tray.
However, this still does not explain:
- why does something run long there at all- what
does one do against it

?
