Melitta caffeo ci - correct grinding degree

Good evening,

since yesterday I am owner of a Caffeo Ci after my Philips HD5730
was simply too often defective.

When commissioning a lot of me on that the Mahlgad was set to "coarse".
The coffee was very watery and I set the grind to "medium"
.

As my Philips vending machine had considerably more levels (all vending machines
of Melitta have only 3 levels?) I would be interested
in which grind level you have set and possibly also which beans you use with
the corresponding setting.

Thank you in advance.

i also set the grind to medium. the coffee also snaps so far very well.

I had the degree at the beginning "fine", but i noticed that the tabs flowed out very watery (muddy). water content was very high.

Hello....

>since yesterday also the Militta ci

Bin so far very satisfied! had so far various Saeco and Jura machines and what strikes me is that the coffee cake is always quite moist. With me it is almost no difference whether the grinder is fine, medium or coarse.

Have you made the same experiences ?????

According to the instructions, the grinding degree can only be adjusted during the grinding process.

Melitta Caffeo CI
DeLonghi ESAM 3000 B

Hello people ,

is proud owner of the CI since Thursday.

I also have a problem with coffee grounds that are too wet.
For my DeLonghi it was always dry and firm and for the CI it is "dripping" wet and falls apart.

Ebenso there is always water in the drip tray which was never the case for the DeLonghi .

Help is that normal ??
