Delonghi Magnifica Reset

Hello everyone,

I use the Delonghi Magnifica ESAM3000-B and am having problems reinserting the brewing unit after cleaning. I probably made the mistake of removing the brewing unit when it was switched on, so that the carriage is now in the wrong position. All attempts to raise the carriage again (pressing the buttons for small and large and cup at the same time) failed - the carriage did not move a single mm. In this case, the FAQ on the Delonghi website recommends resetting the machine to the factory settings by pulling out the plug and pressing the buttons for small, large and cup at the same time to plug it back in. No sooner said than done. Now all the lights light up briefly, the carriage moves up briefly and then down again - and is back in the same position.
What can I do?
