EQ5 - Does not fill after cleaning/descaling

EQ5,
- machine freshly descaled and cleaned
- restart--
- STart button flashes
- machine says pull foamer
- machine says "machine is filling"
- machine says press foamer
Then the noises that usually come after switching on
and nothing happens - no water comes out of the foamer either
and then everything starts all over again....
I can't even think about descaling again :-(
