Water runs out of Caffeo Solo at the bottom

Hello together,

I got a new Caffeo Solo from Melitta 2 days ago. After I had made myself 3 cups, I noticed on the kitchen tray and also on the kitchen floor a large water puddle.
Now I have found the origin. On the picture you can see my machine, which I have turned upside down. It's a kind of water outlet to see. From this water constantly drips, which then leads to these puddles. The water collecting tank has been empty and also otherwise the machine is completely dry inside.
For something this "valve" seems to be good, because it looks like some kind of overflow, but I would like it to be sealed, because for collecting water the bowl is there and not my kitchen floor

It's a known factory defect. I bought mine from the MediM. He exchanged the machine without any problems.

I bought this machine today. Seems more AEG. (Unpack - Switch on - Can't go)

Exactly the same problem - Water in above - water out below.

Bin curious to hear what the seller has to say about the fact that this mistake has been known for over a year and he is still selling scrap.

First of all hello together.
That is simply not to be believed. I bought one for myself and had exactly the same mistake.
Had they had problems with the water filter too!
Had they sent the machine back yesterday and expect the new one today.
Wonder what's coming out of it.
How did it end for you?

In the meantime the guarantee of our Solo has expired for 9 months and lo and behold, it runs - no idea where from - during the operation / preparation process /?... Water, if you're standing in front of it, bottom left side in front off. I haven't been able to locate anything yet. Not much, but much enough.
Does anyone or even Melitta have an idea?

I bought myself a Melitta Caffeo Solo & Perfect Milk on 24.11.2017.
Pleasantly my machine floats already after the 1st start-up.

We have now 2017 and after approx. 5 years this error was still not eliminated.
That's what I call Melitta's stupidity.

Send them right back.

I bought this coffee machine last saturday. Already during the start-up a big puddle formed under the machine. The water came from the same hole.

The hole at the bottom of the housing is just below the water pump and probably a hose or the pump itself is leaking in this area.

Is it possible to fix by oneself? I'm out of warranty.

At least it started with leaking water. I used it for several months and now all the water goes into the drip tray and I get no coffee.
Anybody has a solution for this?
