Good evening,

I bought a S60 used for small money. It should only have a defective brew group, but I had a replacement.
When I turned on the power, I heard a short roar, then smoke rose from the grinder motor....Sch....

Then I disconnected this, which is now probably gone anyway...the fuse still flies immediately, but it burns nothing more through....
Sounds to me like electronics failure.

can someone give concrete tips? Soldering would be no problem, for example.
I still have a motor, but from a newer machine with temperature fuse on the motor (is also longer than that of the S60, but the same grinder).

Or maybe someone has a cheap replacement grinder motor?

Vg Stephan

The grinder motor smoked when you turned it on?
Has the machine ever been tinkered with? Do all plug connections fit?

Morning,

the connections of the grinder motor were reversed, but from this it should not have burned out......

No, then it just turns the wrong way around. Is it the fuse or the RCD?

Fuse actually. No burn marks are visible on the circuit board, I'm surprised there was even a short one. I had not even turned on the device!
