initial setting

I bought the QM 05000A with manometer and made my first observations.
grinding degree at 2, powder quantity at 8 o'clock.
The run through takes about 12 seconds, the ejected cake weighs about 14 grams.

Is it correct that the pressure is only equal to 2-3 bar at most?
All machines are advertised with 15 bar?!

Hello,

so to answer your question:

Pressure is only caused by resistance. The machine can generate up to 10.5 bar pressure. Then a pressure relief valve opens and the "more water" is led back into the tank.
That means for you in plain language: Finer grinding degree gives higher pressure. BUT: Age of smoked supermarket coffee will never bring as much resistance and delicious crema as a fresh roast.

MFG
