Hello,

I have unfortunately taken problems with my Nivona CafeRomatica 757.

Gestern evening broth group to clean. Machine was off.
She went out heavy somehow. So I had to shake a bit after turning the lever.

Today it can't be used properly anymore. It's kind of hard, and she doesn't lock up right. The lever cannot be moved non-violently.

The lower part of the brewing group can be moved manually without any problems.
In my opinion, the position in the machine also seems to be correct, I do not see the problem.

Abide pictures about the position of the brewing group.

The only thing I noticed was the upper metal lever on the brewing group, which is supposed to actuate the left upper shifting in the machine, at the bottom.
To operate the switch it would have to be up, no idea how it normally works when used :/
But the lever cannot be moved (what exactly does this upper part of the brewing group do?)

I have already pressed the two switches manually and let the machine switch on (so that it moves to the home position, if that would be the problem).
For the machine everything is okay, but the problem doesn't change.

That can't be that the brewing group just won't go in anymore....

Request help, need Coffee smile.gif

Hello Oliver,

have come across your thread because I have the same problem. Could you solve the problem back then?

Just in case someone still has this problem:
The next day the brewing unit suddenly went to push in a little further (for whatever reason). With quite a lot of pressure it was even possible to turn the locking lever and the machine runs again...

I haven't had coffee in hours. The grease thing saved our weekend.
Thank you very much.

I also had the problem and have now found a very simple solution after a long search.
Due to the intensive cleaning of the machine, only the rubber in the guide pin has dried out.
If you just put some silicone grease on it, the brewing unit will work fine again.

I also had the problem, but I could solve it by greasing the brewing unit. This is at the point where the hole with the 3 grooves is (unfortunately cannot explain it any other way), where the opposite side is then at the machine. Since I grease it regularly, it goes very well in the machine.

Thanks for the tip with silicone grease!
Almost took my life at the brew group since an hour agoNow
lubricated and everything is fine.
Thanks a million

Thanks for the tip. Have rubbed the two rubber rings with a little sunflower oil, and poof the brewing unit slid in without any problems. A little jiggle the lever and then the again engaged.
