The small chamber in the drip tray must be cleaned first of all.
Moist coffee sludge in the small chamber and the sensor does not detect an empty bowl

I had spent some time yesterday descaling with this problem and was annoyed accordingly.
Fortunately, I
found
this clue
.

It had helped to clean the small drawer in the top left corner of the drip tray from the coffee pomace with a Q-tip

.

Drying was not necessary.

I found the mistake. Electronics are broken, bullshit. Moisture at the Tresster container occurs. The real mistake is accumulation of moisture at the sensor behind the inner impoverishment. I have found this error in a machine of this type probe dried machine running again.

The chamber of the drip tray with the Q-tip dry has brought it. Thanks biggrin.gifthe decalcification process has gone on and now finally comes to an end.

I also always have this display when descaling and then nothing works anymore.
Container in, container out. Nothing
works:-

(But your tip with the cleaning and drying of the small chamber was great and also directly successful. Coffeeeeeee

:-

)Thanks to everyone!

When the message Empty drip tray... although the tray is empty, there is a trick that customer service told us. You have to use a cotton swab to dry the depressions in the tray. Then the cleaning program continues.

that was the best advice, i wanted to get rid of this crap coffee machine.
now it runs perfectly

behind the residual water drawer is a humidity sensor, if the humidity measures, because the drawer is wet outside, then he writes just empty the drawer .... dry properly outside and runs

I can go along with that. I used to do the same thing after I decalcified.
I also dried this sensor thoroughly and the error went away.

I also have this problem mainly with the cleaning process. I have found a trick: after the drip tray and the grounds container have been emptied and the error message keeps coming back, wait 5 seconds (until the grounds container insertion only lights up) and then do not close the door completely until the cleaning menu is visible and then finish the process with the door not closed completely. At least this way you get through and in normal operation I don't get the error so often. Of course it's stupid that Philips doesn't answer this Frgae at all.

Mega!!! Thanks for
the tip with the slightly open door. Works and saves me nerves and repair costs!

Thanks to the tips presented here in the thread, I also got my Saeco Xelsis running again. It's probably a bug that affects several Saeco machines, but I'm sure it's a bug that affects all models.

Meanwhile, the machine had to give way to a Siemens, here's still a tip for the problem.
Cleaning or drying is good, but annoying e.g. when descaling. Here simply leave the cover off the water collection tray. Of course, the regular emptying during the descaling then do not forget.
