Pomace mushy/ Coffee funnel moist

Hello, after a good 15 years of Senseo we have now taken the step to a fully automatic machine it is the Philips 5447/90 become. Well clearly better gehts always but for us 2-3 cups daily sufficient.

Now the first cups are brewed but unfortunately the pomace is not nicely pressed compact but squishy to liquid have read on the Saeco homepage that it can come to such results at the beginning whether this is probably also the case at the parent company?

Then the funnel for the pre-ground coffee there is the lid steamed up and inside it is quite damp. Is that normal?

Since the changeover came quite quickly now lie around 10ü to 120 pads rum could you open them and then prepare coffee through this funnel or is that bad?

I would leave it with pads and try to set the grind to finer (smaller numbers).
