Good morning together,

I have, or had, here a Royal Digital Plus with the following problem.

The lady lost a great deal of water after 3-4 withdrawals under the BG. (In this small collecting tray)

An acquaintance of mine brought me the machine with this problem.

He told me that this problem occurred shortly after decalcification.
(Although I don't think it has anything to do with that)

Now, this morning, with the flap open and the microswitch bridged, I ran 10 covers through it.

Acid under pressure, except for the coffee coming through the spout, nothing below the BG.

Only from time to time before or after the cover does a drop under the BG end up in this small drip tray.

My question now is whether it is normal for Saeco that one or the other drop ends up there?

In the Jura BG I know that the drainage valve releases the excess pressure into the drip tray after the coffee has been brewed.

As the BG is tight under pressure I exclude a defective / leaking brewing flask.

Coffee result is OK, Tresttertab also.

in case of water under the bg, only the tappet seal comes into question, or the brewing cylinder has a hairline crack, or the andockstutzen support valve is not tight these are the most frequent causes, it can also be that the drain is tight, what i would type in your case, check best with compressed air if the drain is free

The "Procedure" is located at the BG. ?

The BG times with compressed air to clean is no problem.

Gruss

the drain is under the support valve on the machine, but if you take it apart and clean it is not a mistake, especially under the sieve(s).

My question is whether it is normal for Saeco to land there one or two drops?

No, that is not normal. This shell remains "farztrocken".

Normally there are only various squeaking noises as well as an adventurous circuit technology and cable laying within the machine. The tightness of the machines is not a general problem.

P.S.: The cleaning of the drain can be found here in pictures:

True, there were quite a few dry leftovers in there.

Many thanks
