Hello QM user.
Can you tell me what you are using to decalcify your machine?

The water pipes in the QM thermoblock are made of copper. There you can take everything, except acetic acid, which together with copper forms considerable amounts of verdigris.
citric acid, tartaric acid etc. can be used without hesitation.

Hello,
As a Quick Mill newcomer I also have a question about descaling:

The instructions say, add descaler to the water and then remove hot water continuously for about 15 minutes. Is this correct, or should the descaler spend some time in the heat exchanger to act? This would mean switching off the hot water after a short time and then rinsing it later. How mach´ ich´s correct??

Gruß
Florian

Hello,
that you can hold as you like. In case of severe calcification the effect can be quite useful.

With the Quicks you cannot leave the water in the heating element, because the water is drained again after the heating is switched off.
This is why descaling is only possible if water is permanently removed.
