Hello coffee friends,

after complete internal cleaning, cleaning the brewing unit and run through all cleaning programs I wanted to do the machine times what good and grease.
In search of the right grease I stumbled across a video where it was mentioned that you should also remove the groove ring of the stamp, clean and grease.
After the grease was there, I took the groove ring off, cleaned it, put grease on it, and tried to reassemble it.
Since the groove ring is 7 years old and accordingly hard, it could no longer be placed cleanly in the groove. After the first reference it has then pressed him up and deformed.
So I ordered a new groove ring, which could also be mounted well and cleanly.
The manual pushing up of the press went without problems, the punch with groove ring went well into the cylinder.

Now to the actual problem:
The first reference with new groove ring brought no coffee to the outlet, it went into the drip tray, cake is wet
.

The next 2 attempts the same.

I now suspect that the cylinder is worn out after 16800 covers and can no longer build up pressure properly with the new groove ring.

Could this be the case?

What do the pros say about this?

Greetings Sim
