DeLonghi ESAM 3500 Menu issue - two languages

Hi,

I have a DeLonghi ESAM 3500 machine and I just replaced the controller board (the one with the display). The machine is now working properly but all the display info has somehow "shifted". For example, when the machine is ready to make coffee, normally you would see READY on the display but now it says INSERT WATER and second line says COFFEE. All the menus are showing other "commands" but the machine still works properly if you know what buttons to press.

However, all the menu items as well as the information for the task machine is doing are completely shifted to some other codes. Another example is when I open the front door, the message on the screen is INSERT COFFEE

Any idea what can cause this issue?

did you install the right circuit board?
Check the codes on the old
circuit board
and the
new one. VGBernd
