Hello dear forum community :-),

For some time now, our fully automatic coffee machine Siemens EQ.9 S700 Extraklasse has been displaying the message "Cancel". It sounds as if a valve (possibly a Keramij valve) opens and the preparation stops immediately, without nozzle cleaning or the like. In the beginning it was only sporadic for milk, but now it comes with almost every milk, sometimes even with coffee. I have always kept everything meticulously clean, the brewing unit and also the milk preparation. Unfortunately the warranty has expired. Does anyone here know what it could be and could I fix it myself? I used to do the maintenance on my Juras myself.

Here is another video for demonstration:

Thank you so much for your help.

Greeting Daniel

We also got it with the S900.

Everything is always regularly dismantled and cleaned. Descaling and cleaning anyway, even with the original tablets.

Since yesterday with quite normal coffee purchase ever more frequently "break off" with approx. 60-80ML.

Were you helped, e.g. by the service? Would you have any advice...?

small update
: 2 decalcifications with increased dose (I did not take the original tablets, but liquid decalcifier) brought relief... Machine works again as
usual.
Let's see how long it lasts.

We've had the machine a little longer. Also the described problem again and again. In the beginning we had sent the machine in (during the warranty period). Came back after one week with the remark that there was a mechanical defect, without further information. Oh yes, and please clean the machine regularly (we already had it before). Now the problem comes back from time to time, sometimes it's done after further cleaning, sometimes only when I treat the seals with silicone grease (or replace them from time to time). Sometimes this is of no use. It is recommended to always take out the sealing ring when cleaning (there is often a lot of coffee hidden there). All in all, the operating instructions regarding cleaning the brewing unit are very economical. Not very satisfactory considering the price range of this machine. Our Saeco before has lasted for almost 18 years and has only been overhauled once in that time.

Sometimes all this is useless. It is recommended to always take out the sealing ring when cleaning (there often hides a lot of coffee). All in all, the instruction manual regarding the cleaning of the brew group is very sparingly executed. Given the price range of this machine is not very satisfactory. We also have the same problem.
It's annoying when you buy such an expensive machine and then have permanent problems.
Guest_Ralf could SIe possibly post a picture, which Dichtugnen you clean and replace?

Thanks

The problem is caused by stubborn lime scale in the flow heater.
The temperature sensor in the outlet reports too large a drop in temperature compared to the sensor directly on the heater, which is why the machine stops.

The remedy may be repeated descaling. several times descaling, or even the exchange of the heater if the lime layer has simply become too thick.
You can also remove the heater and disassemble, then you can marvel at the lime in the "tube";)
