Hello,

the EQ9 like all EQ models indicate when they want to be cleaned. Depends on degree of soiling and setting Water hardness...
Otherwise, once a week everything that is allowed in the dishwasher may be put in the dishwasher, and at the same time grease the brewing unit under water and the spindle
.

I haven't had any problems with that since it was launched on the market
