Coffee does not run through

Hello, my daughter has a Siemens surpresso compact.
The fully automatic coffee machine
grinds the beans, but no water runs through them. The hot water function also only works conditionally, i.e. only for a few seconds, then it also switches off. We cleaned the brewing group, checked the water tank, there is still no coffee running through. Do you have any idea what you can do in this case?
