I had the same problem. Always the familiar x on the symbol of the WLAN connection. Today I had the idea to deactivate my 5.0 GHZ network on the router so that it only sends on 2.4 GHZ and already runs.

Also ich bin auch fast verweifel

There are two problems.
First, the phone after the network including the key was transferred to the coffee machine automatically goes back to the best wifi network. This network is 5Ghz with me and thus no connection with the machine can be established.
The 5GhZ network must be deactivated so that the mobile phone automatically dials into the 2.4 GhZ network after the transfer.

Second problem with me I had a repeater with the same network designation.
With it the connection did not work either.

So I renamed the repeater network to NamenR, so it was clear which network I had to report to the machine.

After that, everything runs like clockwork and the machine can be operated even from the basement.

Has me but nerves cost to find out that......

This error occcured to me as well, i fixed it by disconnecting my router and then creating a hotspot from my phone on the 2.4ghz band with the same name and password as my home network. Then using another phone i could connect it to my hotspot and get it working with the app. When turning off my hotspot and turning my home network back on, the dryer connected right away

Hello all,

would like to briefly describe my experience with the EQ9 S700 Connect. Error: H1086

Automatic connection via WPS failed several times. (why more later) Manual connection has always worked flawlessly. About info also always seen with which WLAN - network I was connected. Thus, only the wireless symbol with the X was there. (Means: still no connection with the app available
)Challenge for me was always to connect to the app.
Any attempt has failed, whether manual connection to the app or immediately with Successful connection to the WLAN - network.
Coffee machine EQ9 S700 was also not found several times in the app, although in the menu under Info a connection to my Fritz Box 7590 was always present.

In the app error message: H1086Really

tried a lot

:

Guest access as I have assigned a very small as well as weak WPA2 with 8 characters WLAN password especially for this problem - without success.
Connected to the WLAN network, deactivated the FritzBox WLAN and switched it on again without success. With other mobile phones or even tablet nothing worked. App uninstalled and reinstalled everything without success.

Until I read it in a side sentence here..... "weak or poor data rate" Ok,

last try, my Fritz repeater is mesh integrated and have now taken this directly into the kitchen behind the fully automatic machine and now tried over my normal WLAN network

.

(64 characters with special characters etc. as well as exclusively for this action 2.4Ghz activated at the Fritzbox and 5 Ghz deactivated) Oh yes Fritz Box is just 4 meters away from the kitchen.
EQ 9 - reset all network settings and here we go again! So I

pressed the WPS button on the repeater and restarted the automatic connection on the EQ9.....
Within 10 seconds I was connected to my network...Wow I thought, that's how I imagine it.
Opened the Home Connect App and started connecting to a new device.... I couldn't believe it, within a few seconds I was connected to the app and from now on I can use all the advantages including updates.

So in a nutshell: WPA2 key - length does not matter, 2.4Ghz enabled - 5Ghz disabled and direct WLAN in the kitchen directly behind the EQ9 had.
You could of course also take his FritzBox, but was too cumbersome for meMay

help someone who wants to save like me at least 3 hours of time

.

Otherwise, I can only report positive about the fully automatic coffee EQ9 S700.

Have fun

Hello everyone
,I had hoped to have finally found the solution with the post. Unfortunately, it did not bring success with me either.

I just do not get the machine in my WLAN and therefore not in the HomeConnect app.

Repeater is virtually in the coffee machine, 5 ghz disabled.

WPS just doesn't work it doesn't happen and the clock runs down.

Manual connection:
I get to the point exactly every time where I can connect to the Home Connect WLAN, then I go back into the app, the window for own WLAN network appears, but it comes ganricht to enter own data, before that it aborts, error message H1083, connection to home device lost
.

Home Connect support says it's my wifi, ok...but what else should I set? ohmy.gif

Can anyone support me?

Best regards BB

@BembelBenny

I am not a network specialist, but got my EQ9-s700 via WPS immediately into the WLAN. Maybe the location of the EQ9 is unfavorable for the router? Try it once in the immediate vicinity of the box. That must succeed, otherwise something is defective. Surely you have already checked the radio net list and really found no entry for the EQ9?

Have struggled today with my EQ9 S700.

WLAN is perfectly distributed with Unifi APs throughout the house, it was not. Had deactivated 5GHz from the main WLAN, without success. Always the error that the access data could not be transferred to the device. But I could see that the machine was connected in the WLAN.

Then I created a new SSID only for the machine and limited to the AP which was closest to the fully automatic (integrated in the kitchen island).

This new WLAN also got only 2.4GHz, safe is safe. Then connected cell phone to it and did the whole crap again. The third time it worked.

First with the stupid iPad not, but then with my Android phone. Yay, finally machine on wifi. smile.gif

Maybe as a help for all with Unifi.

Error H1086

It worked for me now.
I had tried many things before and spent a long time in hotline queues.
Apparently the machine does not work with the newer intelligent WLAN modes, which have both 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz under the same SSID.
Solution (AVM Fritzbox 7590):
1) Under >WLAN >Radio Network
(
below), select 'Different naming of radio networks on 2.4 and 5 GHz' and temporarily give the 5 GHz network a different name
.
Do not rename the 2.4 network.
2) Go through the HomeConnect registration procedure. Error H1086 should now no longer appear and the Login in App item should also work.
3) Cancel the different naming of the Fritzbox WLAN. (The error exists only at the first login.)

I hope it helps you!

G.
