Beans out, 4 x coffee brewing start, ignore warning message, beans in again. Within the next 10 references this should be correct again.

Open and clean the grinder. Especially the conveyor wheel under the lower grinding stone. I'm sure that's a bit of a problem.

Thanks so much. My Delonghi had been making weak coffee for a month, but just running it empty of beans a four or five times as you suggested has now increased the time for grinding from 2 secs to 8 secs for double cups. Back to good strength coffee now. cheers Tony

Thank you Looser.

I tried this on my Delonghi Magnifica esam 4200 and it worked.

The grinding time for a single dose was 2 seconds and the grinding time for a double dose was 2.5 seconds.

Emptied the hopper and rand the double dose five times with the empty hopper and ignored all the lights and the grinder tine increased from 2.5 seconds to nearly 5 seconds. Now the coffee is strong and as it was when the machine was new

Also the coffee puck is back to normal as before it was just a sludge and not a proper puck after brewing the coffee.

Again, thank you soo much for this trick.
