Delonghi PRIMADONNA S EVO No Steam / Hot Water

I have a Delonghi PRIMADONNA S EVO ECAM510.55.M, recently the steam stopped dispensing from the wand, it makes all the right noises, but steam comes out of side of machine a little but not wand. I then noticed the hot water function does not work either from the steam wand. I tried descaling the machine which resulted in a full tank of water leaking out as it could not pass through the steam wand on the last cycle of the descale.

I've taken the machine appart and tried to trace the issue. I'm thinking it could be solenoid valve. What I find strange is that it was intemitnently working, rather than just stopping working completely..

Is there anywhere else I could look for a blockage/try?

I have some videos of the machine running in steam/hot water mode if they would help.

Hello it could be that this valve is defective or so heavily calcified that it no longer switches through. Remove and clean by hand.
Steam heating could also be calcified.

Hi, thanks for the quick response, here are a couple of videos. By the valve do you mean the one circled in this image? It seems this is the one responsible for outputting to the steam wand?
