Hello,

My Melitta Cafe Solo is brand new, must have done no more than 50 expressos. I thought the drip tray was getting full too fast so to avoid emptying it so often I started putting a glass to catch the water coming from the nozzles when the machine runs it's automatic cleaning cycle switching on or off. However, water still drips onto the drip tray from inside the machine, is this normal?

Yes, they come out as perfect pucks.
