Hello everyone,

I noticed today that I have some water in the pulp container of my F7 after rinsing. Not much, but clearly visible. Is this okay? The machine actually runs quite well. Seals in the BE and drain valve are only a few weeks old, but maybe something doesn't fit.

Thanks!

Some water always remains in the brewing chamber.
This is then drained off via the drainage valve.

When rinsing, there is more water, as there is no coffee powder in the chamber.
When making coffee, there is less water, as the ground coffee absorbs the water.

Thanks for your answer. But I'm not sure how to understand the answer. The "drain" happens just (presumably) not only via the drainage valve, but it lands when rinsing just additionally(!) Some water in the Tresterbehälter. All right or not all right?

There should be no water in the pulp container.
If you have water in the pulp container, the brewing unit will need to be inspected.

Well, it's just a mixture of a little ground coffee and 1 to 2 ml of water. It only gets in there after the rinse after(!) a purchase. When rinsing after switching on, no water ends up in the container.

Then simply observe if it is no longer.
If it becomes more, then revise the brewing unit.
The water will probably push it through a sealing ring.

Hello, if there is water in the marc tray, it is the drainage motor that is at fault
The disease of this motor is an internal blockage of the one
At Jura this motor costs about a hundred euro.
