Hello all... unfortunately we also have the problem that only every 2nd reference comes. Always in alternation... With the message refill beans. I have disassembled and cleaned the grinder. Nevertheless, the error continues. Not comprehensible is that always only every 2nd reference to the error
. What is that for a logic ... because of current measurement and then display the error.

Hard to believe that it can be due to the grinder.... shy the 100€.
Does anyone have a tip? Thank you.

Hi all, I have the same problem with my eq.6. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?wacko.gif

Ahoy! I have now had the problem twice with my EQ.6 plus s 100.
In both cases, the solution was a curious handle. I pulled out the lever of the grinder (the Böppel in the bean hopper) with some force, turned on the machine and lo and behold, the error was gone. After the test coffee, I turned the machine off and pushed the lever back in.
The error remains gone.

No idea why, actually there should be no connection, but it works.

I hope the tip helps you too!

Thanks for the tip! We also had the same problem with our coffee machine and this has worked for us. The message "Fill bean hopper" is no longer displayed and the coffee machine works very well again.

Unfortunately I can not pull out the part, it is too tight.

Happy Easter,

there is no special sensor in there that indicates the lack of beans. It actually has to do with the amount of current the grinder draws. And the electronics notice this and report <refill beans>. With the EQ 5 I mentioned, the grinder ran for a very short time before this message appeared.
I would remove the grinder and clean it thoroughly. You can find instructions on how to do this at "juraprofi.de". There is often quite a lot of incrustation, so that not enough fresh beans slip in.

Greetings HWS

Hello,
this has nothing to do with power consumption. If the container is really empty, the message will also appear. If you fill the container, the message disappears without the grinder running. There is no power consumption when the motor is not running. There must be a sensor. By the way, I have the same problem, but only sporadically, so I haven't really looked into it yet.
Greetings
Peter

Worn motor brushes of the grinder motor also cause this error.
