Melitta Caffeo Solo how often/when Grease

Good afternoon,

I got the Caffeo Solo coffee maker from Melitta. This one is now a good one year old. Apart from the specified cleaning, I have not carried out any maintenance work so far. Unfortunately I could not find any information in the internet but only videos how maintenance works. But in which time interval should I grease or replace the seals ?

If you have the feeling that the quality of the brewed coffee has clearly deteriorated, the powder is very wet,... ...and that for you is in proportion to the effort...
After one year, this will not be the case yet. We've had a Solo for many years in office-like continuous operation with a rough estimate of 20-30 cups a day - it's been working ever since without any special maintenance, although the coffee is now really quite moderate.

The devices are generally maintenance-free... but of course maintenance and thorough cleaning makes sense...

Everybody has his own feelings... it's like washing a car... there are people who wash every day and clean the exhaust pipes inside... and hold the others.

I find a good compromise on the Melitta every 4 years or 10,000 paychecks.
