Hot water call-off irregular, haunted?

When hot water is called up, it runs normally at first and then starts to "spit" (steam, nothing, water, etc.)
So I can't make a proper tea or grog.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a solution?

Is the pump getting louder? There is probably not enough water coming in and then it starts to evaporate in the heater.
Coffee brewing runs normally?
Pump, membrane regulator, limescale. Could be a few things.
