Hello dear forum members,
I need help with my fully automatic coffee machine Melitta Caffeo CI.
The machine grinds coffee and the water is pumped, but the coffee runs into the marc container and into the drip tray. Looking at the brewing unit, I noticed that a piece of a small angle (like an inlet/outlet spout?) plastic is broken off on the brewing cylinder. Could this be the cause? And can this be replaced on the brewing cylinder without buying a completely new brewing unit?
I look forward to expert advice and thank you in advance.
Greetings

Schlawi

Post a picture of the angle.

Attached is a photo of the broken "angle" and at the top you can see where it broke off on the brewing cylinder (that is on the side of the brewing unit that would face the water tank when inserted).

This is the inlet connection.

However, check that there is not another piece of the connection hanging in the drainage valve. Otherwise the new one will be broken again.

Hello order silicone grease with you immediately so that the nozzle can easily enter the drainage valve.

First of all, thank you for the quick answers!
Do you think that the problem "coffee runs inside" will be solved?
And do I have to unscrew the entire brewing unit for the change and if so, what tool is needed?

Hello you need a 10 Torx and look times whether the upper brew head is torn where the hose goes out in front, then the valve bridge that sits above the brew head, best to post photo evtl. can see that.
If you have the error then new brewing unit.

MfG Chris

Is this view meant?
If directly worth a new brewing unit, where to buy?

Yes, exactly. Since you have to look where you get this brewing unit cheap.
