Hello together,

I am quite helpless and hope to get some help/tips from you here.

I own a Krups EA901010 fully automatic coffee machine, which I bought at the end of 2015.
Technically the machine works perfectly. Unfortunately, now anyway, a real problem has occurred.
Mir has noticed that unfortunately there are clearly recognizable particles in the freshly filled water.
These are in the glass as well as in the water tank after rinsing. There, however, these were not present before the flushing.
All removable parts were thoroughly cleaned and the cleaning program was carried out with the appropriate cleaning tablet.
Although only prefiltered or decalcified water was added to the water tank, the decalcification program with the corresponding powders was also carried out afterwards.
But even after that there was no improvement.

For this reason, I had the machine at Krups Customer Service. These had checked this and carried out a "repair". Here the following parts were exchanged

MS-0678845 Filter
MS-0A10337 Flowmeter

After that the device was sent back to me.

I was sorry to find out the following:
After the water came out of the machine totally yellowish at the first rinse, I did two more rinses.
The color became clearer. Even a car wash didn't need any improvement.
Additionally I had to find out that the repair did not solve the actual problem and there are still particles in the water, clearly visible.

Therefore I contacted Krups Customer Service again. They wanted to check the fully automatic coffee machine again.
That's why I sent it in again. There it was checked again and the hoses were flushed.

I got it back today.

After unpacking the machine and connecting it, I carried out several flushes again.
Unfortunately, I had to find out again that the problem had neither been fixed nor improved.
I then immediately called the customer service again. I was told that this is normal, that the water is yellowish and that I should simply rinse it again.
For better understanding I have added some pictures showing the results of the individual rinsing processes.

My questions to you would now be the following

- Is the yellow color normal?
- Are the clearly visible black particles in the water normal?

Both points are not comprehensible for me, because already for at least 20 rinses no coffee was prepared
and the Krups customer service had the machine 2x for maintenance and it was cleaned.

Many thanks for your feedback.

This problem usually occurs in connection with pre-filtered water, the filtration increases the bacterial count of the water and under certain circumstances algae can form in the water or in the device, in most cases only meticulous cleaning of the water paths in the device can help. With fully automatic coffee machines, it is therefore not advisable to filter the water, but rather to select shorter intervals between descaling and operate without a filter.
