Hello,

bin new here I've read more than once in there ! I've been looking for a VA that can do everything and everything comes from a nozzle and now we've come to the decision to buy the WMF 1000 pro
were they now watch and sample drinking in the WMF store !
But is it worth buying the Pro or is it enough to buy the normal one because there are 500€ difference !

Experience reports about the 1000 and Pro would not be bad !

thanks
MFG Rafael

You have to decide if you want to have the technical and optical differences of the 1000pro in contrast to the 1000 or not.

Hello Rafael, biggrin.gif

so we've already been working on the purchase of a WMF, but we still don't agree.

The tendency is more towards the 1000pro, because we like to drink latte, cappuccino and the children like milk or milk foam. The pro automatically changes over from milk to milk foam, which the 1000 does not do, which has to be changed over manually. This is for us the main point why the pro.

A great thing we also find the Steam-Jet cup prewarming, but for us is not quite so important, because only now and then an expresso is drunk, mainly when my father-in-law is there.

The Perfect Extraction System we can not really judge yet, because we do not know if it really has so much effect on the coffee taste
. Maybe someone can tell us something about his experience.

Bin curious how you decide.

Miss regards Miss coffee

The Steam-Jet cup preheater is not only used for espresso cups. Basically you should preheat every coffee cup.

I thought it was especially important for Expresso.

Is maybe a stupid question but why should you warm every coffee cup
before?

Then this is another point for the pros and the € 500.00 more.

May someone else tell us something about the Perfect Extraction System ?

Thank you and greetings Miriam

Coffee cups should be preheated so that the coffee stays hot longer and does not change the taste when it lands in the cup. If coffee cools down quickly, this also changes the taste to a certain extent. So coffee and cold don't get along so well.
The temperature stability of latte macchiato and cappuccino in particular can be prolonged by preheating the cups. Milk foam is never very warm, the espresso that flows into it already cools down, then adds a cold cup, cools the drink even more.

Gut are thick-walled cups made of earthenware for all drink variations. They store the heat best and therefore all beverages stay warm longer.

To the Perfect Extraction System:
Humidifying the coffee powder + a short waiting time before the actual brewing process. What is to be achieved? Due to the minimal amount of water and the pause, the powder can swell. During the subsequent brewing process, the aroma components dissolve better from the coffee.

Why don't you know if it's a 1,000 or a pro? If I order, then I also know what arrives *confused*

WMF takes a little longer with deliveries. I have waited 1 1/2 weeks for an order in their online shop. Do not annoy, wait and drink tea wink.gif
