WMF 1000 per brand new and little foam

Hello,

we just bought a WMF 1000 pro and are now totally disappointed about the milk foam. The machine can only produce milk foam if you keep the button pressed. We always get only about 1 cm foam in a glass no matter how long you keep the button pressed. The rest is just milk.

The foam in the cappuccino and latte is also not intoxicating.

I'd like to know how much foam you get if you fill a
normal water glass with milk foam. Is that then full of foam or
do you have a little bit of foam?

Many thanks for your answers

Greetings

I have a WMF Ecco, this is a predecessor model from 2005.
There I get a milk/foam ratio of 1:1 to 2:1 in an Ikea water glass (approx. 300 mL) with the Latte Macchiato.
In the ideal case, the foam is about the same height as the milk layer if the last foam separation was a few days ago or if the machine has not been heated for a long time, about half as much foam as milk.

In the end result the foam layer is 2 to 4 cm high.
I would therefore recommend a complaint about your 1000pro.

Have you also used refrigerated milk and tried the different suction nozzles?
