Hello,

I have a problem with an EQ5! foamer pulling comes and after that system is filled.
Then it comes without end water from the foamer and then the game starts again from the beginning.

After a few times then descaling is necessary... <X

>Electronics in the bucket?

Or someone has experience and a sensor messes up the electronics?

Good evening,
I would then run the decalcification. If this doesn't help, then check the flow meter, open the white potty in the back. The red turbine wheel must be able to move freely. Even the smallest dirt particles can be the reason why this sensor no longer works properly. Electronics I don't believe that is defective.

Thank you 1000 x! Problem with new flow sensor fixed.

Wanted to open the old one first, but it broke immediately...

It couldn't be opened at all...

Well, the 10 Euro for the new one are absolutely ok! :-)

Same problem.

How do you get the flowmeter? How do I get the case off?

Many thanks,

Alex

Good morning,

unscrew the 2 Torx screws on the tank side. First press away the snap noses from below with your fingers on the rear wall. Then press the back wall slightly upwards. Press the lid upwards with your fingernails. Now the back wall can be pulled away. From the front under the machine the best way to push out the latching noses is with your fingers at the front and one after the other to the rear. A little hard to walk. Then pull the side wall away from the front with moderate force. All this can crash and go very loud. But it's normal. There is a good guide at "juraprofi.de". EQ 5 opens in the same way as EQ7: see file!

OK, thank you very much.

I think I'll pass the error diagnosis on to the repair shop. Not Siemens' - they wanted 200 EUR for the repair - but the one around the corner.

The price for the repair from Siemens was so outrageous that from now on I will avoid devices from Siemens and Bosch. If the repair is nothing the thing will come in the ton and will be replaced by a 100 EUR screen holder machine plus coffee grinder.

Hello,

I also have the same problem with an EQ5! foamer pulling comes and after that system is filled.
Then water comes out of the foamer and then the game starts again from the beginning.

I cleaned the flowmeter as written here but still makes it

Have you got more tip? How could I perform decalcification at this stage?
Thank you in advance
Gruß Roland

Hello,

oft only helps to put in a new flowmeter. They may be electrically defective.

Many thanks

Thanks for the tips.
I was probably also using the flow meter.
Although it was enough to give the machine a little bit of a boost.
After half a lap "Foamer pull" it was over.

>I let it run again "Calc&Clean" and now it runs again.

So my tip:
- don't disassemble the machine right away. First try with decalcifier
- the girlfriend should not always ignore the message "Decalcifying necessary"

Many thanks for the tip with the descaler. Problem was fixed after 2 runs.

Simply let a descaler run along a few times ...
After that the problem is
solved.

So don't expand anything etc.

The tip was really good. It wasn't 2 runs but rather 20 but after that it was okay again...
