Hello together,

we have a problem with the WMF 1000. If you prepare Latte Macciato, the first one is perfect, if you prepare Latte Macciato, the second one will run about a tablespoonful of coffee into the milk foaming process during milk foaming, which means that the foam is brown and tastes bitter.

The machine first grinds the coffee, then starts the foaming process and during this time the coffee powder is pressed into the brewing unit. This seems to be the moment when the coffee "runs after.

>For a better understanding I made a small movie about it:

DSCI0176.AVI

>We already exchanged the machine once. The 2nd device also has the problem, the demo device in the shop but not.

Thanks for's feedback

Hello jolm,

I wouldn't call the peculiarity of WMF1000 described by you 'problem'. It may not be optimal for coffee to run out, but you can't change anything about it. Our WMF does the same; but actually only with latte macchiato and café au lait, not with other specialities.

The only thing that bothers me is that you have to clean the spout quite frequently and intensively if you are constantly drinking coffee. Strangely enough, the phenomenon happens at irregular intervals, i.e. the WMF usually works very well, but then the coffee starts to run again if you don't expect it at all.

Otherwise you are satisfied with the WMF, aren't you? It's a fine thing if you can adjust the brewing temperature or the grinding degree so precisely.

How long have you had your machine?

Love greetings.
Michael
