Hello everyone,
have dared with a used Orchestro the entrance.
Until now not yet regretted.

The thing with the foaming aid is described in the manual but what funny and I wonder if it is optional.

If I google correctly interpreted, this is the help and for water is unscrewed and you have the pipe with thread. Correctly understood?

no, see page 11 of the BDA:
Slide foaming aid downwards for foam, upwards for heating liquids.
Hot water, see BDA page 12:
Rotate steam switch and press flush button. End: Turn back steam switch.

Sorry, I just see it's a Krups. The references to the BDA refer to the - identical - AEG Cafamosa, otherwise it should be true...

Oh, thank you very much. Didn't realize you could push them down. It's also not in my BDA.
It only says

QUOTE
td id='QUOTE'>To achieve an optimum foaming result,
use the separate foaming aid .
Place the foaming aid on the steam nozzle.
Note! Use the foaming aid only for milk foaming.

Must be a mistake. Makes no sense at all and the pictures also look completely different.
or it is really optional and you put something like that on top of it.

The foaming aid of the Krups is only there to add some air so that it foams faster, nothing can be moved. The Panarello described by Helmut is used with many VAs and can also be screwed onto the steam pipe of the Krups if you unscrew the small nozzle.
The instructions you quote are absolutely correct for the Orchestro and it is also the correct foaming aid.
