Hi guys,

I would love to tap into your expertise:

I have ne Siemens EQ 9 s500 which is about two and a half years old (smile.gif. It has spit out about 7,500 coffees and has been to BSH once as a warranty case where a few things were done (new brewing unit for instance).

Anyway, the machine no longer gives out coffee.

Ground coffee drops into the bowl, hot water is dispensed. At the push of a button, the machine starts to rumble, which takes an agonizingly long time with the model anyway. Only now it does make its sounds, but at some point the message "abort" comes up and no liquid comes out.

In the past, at best, I have noticed that the time from pressing the button to the first drops of coffee took a long time. Increasingly so by feel, but that may be subjective.

Can anyone already isolate the problem based on this data? The machine is downstairs on the kitchen table and before I open it I would like to get your opinion.

So thanks for writing and all the best
,Ping

First I would try it with a descaler based on amidosulfide overnight, if that does not bring success, possibly go in the direction of flowmeter or brewing unit (black hose) on troubleshooting.
