Nivona Cafe Romantica

Hello folks, with our Nivona the coffee does not run out of the outlet but into the collecting bowl. I cleaned the machine with a tablet because it indicated this. No more coffee after cleaning. Anybody got an idea? Thank you. Thank you.

That sounds like a defect,

Could be the drainage valve's broken. A professional should check it out.

It is a defect in any case... the drainage valve is then the "usual suspect"... unfortunately it is very deep in the device, this is not for laymen...

Of course, there may also be a defect in the brewing unit. You could look at the Kobens' sealing ring, see if it's obviously damaged... you can see that right away.

If you push the piston of the brewing unit up by hand (into the springs) then you could check the plastic bridge at the top of the brewing unit to see if the plastic has cracks or is completely broken... that would also be a possible cause...

I changed the drainage valve, also the piston seal. It was fiddly but with some manual skill it worked. Unfortunately, the problem is still there. Looks like the broth's running out the top of the brewing unit. The system can also no longer flush, no water comes out, runs out at the brewing head. Could not detect a defect (break). The spout is not blocked, I could test it with a bicycle pump. Any other ideas?

okay... obviously, you're handy. Otherwise you could disassemble the brewing unit... also remove the brewing head and clean the sieve and the crema valve.

With the drainage valve, you just changed the gaskets. Or the whole valve...?

I changed the whole DV. I disassembled the BE, the crema valve is open at the top (in the pipe)?, it must be like this.... somehow the coffee sauce bubbles out up there at the brewing head. Now, you just call it a day. Is there a detail /// exploded view of the brewing head? Maybe I forgot a piece when I was cutting it up.

Replacing the drainage valve completely was definitely the right thing to do. Often enough not only the gaskets but also the housing of the valve are damaged.


I'd check back there to see if you've got everything properly assembled on the brewing unit. And take a look at the bridge at the top of the brewing unit above the brewing head again... it centers the brewing head when it is compressed and is often damaged...

as a test you could make a powder coffee in advance and see if that works... with a little coffee in it 2-3 teaspoons...

C'est un vieux sujet mais je fais part de mon expérience, si ça peut aider quelqu'un.

De moins en moins de café dans la tasse, de la créma dans les bacs de récupération, des galettes de marc qui sont trempées et en miette, j'ai donc changé la vanne de vidange, les divers joints toriques... même résultat !

En fait, il s'agissait de la durite en silicone qui se trouve sur le groupe (sortie café, en haut). Elle était devenue poreuse et fuyait, on pouvait remarquer de l'eau à cet endroit (ce qui évidemment n'était pas logique).

Je suis allée chercher cette durite à Jardiland car ça ressemble fortement à ce qu'on utilise dans les aquariums.
Les diamètres proposés étaient trop grands, j'ai trouvé ce qu'il me fallait au rayon tondeuses : durite silicone à essence, moins de 6€, RÉPARATION OK !

En espérant avoir pu aider quelqu'un ????
