Moin, after years again nen contribution from me.

I am having the problem of coffee just dribbling out of one "nostril". Have already decalcified, also the upper brewing piston, as I already knew the problem. If I make only ne rinse, so only about the rinse button water run, it runs wonderfully. But if I make a coffee, hardly anything comes out. I have also cleaned the small sieve on the brewing group, without success. Does anyone have an idea?

Thank you guys.

VG Chris

Can you test them individually?

Not really. You can tinker a test bench with pressure gauge to look at whether it still builds up enough pressure.
But a new pump costs no 20 € including shipping. E.G. https://www.

the link points to "Water pump Ulka EP 5 suitable for DeLonghi EAM & ESAM", but I have ne ECAM. Fits the pump anyway? Or the EP5GW?

It's worse since today. Sounds like she's trying to push, can't make it, and is picking up momentum again. But it's just dripping. But as mentioned before, when flushing, it pumps as if nothing is wrong.

Can also take the Ep5GW. The inner workings are identical. Costs only 2 € more.
You can also remove your pump times and disassemble and look at the ball in the pump. The has new 4mm. Had only one there had the ball still 3.8mm and the pump has no longer brought the full power. Coffee dripped only. New pump pure and good was. Was indeed ne ESAM, but is no matter in the end.

Was für Inhaltsstoffe?

It's lactic acid. I don't know what it's like. Try it just once. Especially the upper brewing piston decalcify.

Has brought nothing. Strange, however, that it works with coffee powder, rinsing works, only with beans funzt it not. Have also already changed the grind down and up. nothing.

Had you ever disassembled the grinder? How is the grind or make a picture of the ground powder. If that is too fine then there may also be problems.

Coffee löft again. Thanks for the tip with the grind. Was probably too fine. I just tried a new type of coffee. Have the grind now on center and will go step by step finer again.
Thanks for your support.
