EQ 700 Integral - Cleaning the brewing unit

Hello all,

I own an EQ 700 integral since two days. Since yesterday I have the problem that after each drink the message appears 'Please clean brewing unit'. However, it helps here already to remove only the water tank and the cover to the brewing unit, the brewing unit itself does not need to be removed and cleaned. I noticed this after cleaning 8 times in one day. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

If the machine is new, go to Siemens Service.
If the machine is used, the culprit is likely to be the fabric hose on the brew group or the water pump.

Moin and thank you for your answer. Yes, as I said machine received 3 days ago. On 19.12. it will be picked up by GLS.

All a bit strange that it is enough to remove the cover and put it back on. When I put the cover back on, it clicks briefly in the machine and the message disappears. Does anyone know what exactly happens in the machine when the cover is attached? Why does it clack then?
