Hello!

>Completely disassembled and cleaned the brew group of my 5 year old Siziliana a month ago and replaced all seals, including the drainage valve. Piston with lip seals. Since then she ran without any problems - great coffee - fast run-out.
But a few days ago she started blinking after rinsing to vent. Then she started to let less and less coffee out and to torture herself during the exercise. It hums ever louder during the brewing process and at the end it hisses or makes a puff in the machine as if a pressure relief valve suddenly releases air. Thought it was clogged and first descaled it yesterday, then cleaned it (programs ran through without problems). However, the problem remains and is still difficult to brew - gets quite loud and it makes puff.

Woran can this lie?

Bin thankful for any help!

Chris

I cleaned the drain valve and there was a mini-lime piece in it.
Now it works again.
You are the BEST!! Thank you! :-))

As you are the BEST, would you recommend to take the heating cartridge apart and replace the gaskets soon?

I would only do that if the cartridge is leaking. And the screws on your head like to shear off.
