Hi,

I got a used FNF2 yesterday, but either it has a defect or I am too stupid to insert the trays below...

After switching on (no matter if Power or OK) I get the error message that I should check the shells and I can't acknowledge it. I have already tried in several ways to insert, remove, restart etc... but I can't get any further.

Does anyone have any idea where the sensors are located that check whether the shells are inserted correctly? I would like to check if everything still works as it should... alternative: Maybe someone has a really simple assembly instruction, if there is a trick with this machine... but even if I try: The three parts (4 with rust) only fit well together in one way and can be pushed into the machine (the front panel sticks out about .0.5 - 1 mm?).

So if anyone has any advice... I'd be very grateful.

You can see the switch for the bowl when you are inside right when the bowl is outside. There is a small opening with a switch behind it. The switch is operated by the bowl. It is possible that the holder where the switch is located is broken. Or the switch itself is broken. To change the part you have to open the machine.

Thanks for the quick answer smile.gif

I took another look and assume that you mean the 2mm high cutout on the right along the "rail"... should that be the case... then I think the switch is defective... or gone.
I took a photo of the interior (needs some compressed air...)... maybe I just got it
wrong...

Hi,

That's exactly what I mean. Marked it in the picture.
You have to open the machine and check the holder. I think it's broken. On the holder is the solenoid for the drain valve and the
switch.

The bracket breaks with the years

.

Google "Jura 64489". This is the part.

Dumb question... but would you expect this to be transport damage?

No, I don't think so. Then other parts will break. Why? Was it sold without a defect?

Go on. It was supposed to have been in repair recently (seals etc).

Well, I suppose the salesman will take the carrot back.

So when I look at the brewing unit alone... It doesn't look like new seals. What did you pay for the machine?
